RightEverywhere® Privacy Notice

At Right Management, your privacy is important to us and we place great care in the responsible, transparent and safe handling of data.

This privacy notice provides a framework of understanding about the personal data collected by Right Management Inc. and our compliance to data privacy law.

This privacy notice applies to users of RightEverywhere® and describes the types of personal data and information we collect, how we use it, how long we process and store it, how we protect it, with whom we share it, to whom we transfer it and the rights that you can exercise regarding our use of your personal data. We also describe how you can contact us to further enquire about our privacy practices or to exercise your rights. California residents should also refer to our California Privacy Policy for additional information about their data and rights under California law. Information We Collect

We may collect a selection of personal data, including, but not limited to:

  • Contact information (like full name, personal email address, personal telephone number) – with your consent;
  • The username you create when you register on RightEverywhere® - with your consent;
  • Other information you may provide to us when you complete your career assessment activities – with your consent;
  • Any CV/Resume you create and save via the CV builder tool or any CV/Resume you may upload to your account – with your consent;
  • Test results; if you complete any third party personality or occupational assessments on RightEverywhere® - with your consent;
  • User IP address and your Service Provider IP address – for legitimate business interest

All processing will be carried out based on the adequate legal grounds outlined above, including:

  1. Consent from you i.e. when you tick a box to give permission about how we communicate with you;
  2. Fulfilment of contract with you;
  3. Legitimate business purpose, for example, letting you access the website to be provided with the services offered, or to enhance, modify, personalise or otherwise improve our services/communications for your benefit;

Whenever we process data for legitimate business purposes we will make sure to keep your rights in high regard and, depending on local law, you have the right to object to such processing. More details can be found in the section titled, Your Rights. Please bear in mind that if you exercise your right to object, this may affect our ability to carry out and deliver services to you for your benefit

How We Use the Information We Collect

Right Management uses the data gathered for the following purposes (as permitted under local law):

  • To comply with contractual obligations and our policies;
  • For the effective evaluation, operation and improvement of our business, including developing, enhancing, analysing and improving our services; managing our communications and performing data analytics;
  • In order to optimise your user experience and to better tailor our offer to you, we use Cookies and similar technology, where permitted under law and consistent with our Cookie Policy;
  • Right Job Opportunities™, one of the features of RightEverywhere®, allows you to upload your CV/resume in order to simplify the job application process and match to suitable jobs. If you have uploaded your CV/resume, with your agreement, it will be visible and can be searched by recruiters and hiring managers. Use of these tools is intended to enhance the service Right Management provides and is entirely voluntary. You can publish and unpublish your CV/resume at any time;
  • When you complete an online assessment, we use the personal data you provide to help you determine potential career or development opportunities.
  • With your consent, we may use your data to communicate with you about, and administer participation in, events, programs and surveys in an effort to continually improve the service we offer. You will be able to control your preferences in the privacy preferences and settings of your RightEverywhere® Profile. To opt in or out of marketing content, go to the profile page on RightEverywhere®.

Third Party Tools and Resources

RightEverywhere® contains links to career tools provided by third parties with whom Right Management has agreements. When you voluntarily elect to use these services you may be asked to create a User Account and password on the applicable third party web site. You may be asked to provide full name, email address, personal interest and / or other relevant information; this data will remain on that platform.

Information We Share

We do not disclose personal data that we collect about you from RightEverywhere®, except as described in this privacy notice.

We may share personal data with vendors who perform services on our behalf based on our instructions. When we use the services of other parties to process data on our behalf, we ensure processing agreements are in place, so that they too handle your personal data carefully. We never sell your data to third parties.

In addition, we may disclose personal data about you on the following basis:

  1. If we are required to do so by law or legal process;
  2. When we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss.

We also reserve the right to transfer personal data we have about you in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets (including in the event of a reorganisation, dissolution or liquidation).

If we share data with our affiliated ManpowerGroup companies, we will ensure that there are appropriate safeguards for the protection of your data.

Data Transfers

We may transfer personal data to countries outside of the country in which the information was originally collected. If we transfer personal data from within the European Union to outside the European Union the transfer takes place on the basis of:

  1. Adequacy decision by the European Commission;
  2. Standard data protection clauses (formerly called the Model Clauses) adopted by the European Commission

By providing personal Information on RightEverywhere® you consent to this transfer.

How We Process, Store and Protect Information

We will retain your personal data for as long as you wish to access the service you are entitled to.

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal data you provide against accidental, unlawful or unauthorised destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use.

User account data is stored in a shared Right Management database hosted at a third party service provider in the United States. Backup tapes of electronic records are also stored securely, on behalf of Right Management, at a third party data centre in the United States.

Your Rights

When permitted by applicable law, you can exercise the following specific rights:

  1. Right of access: You have the right to access your personal data in order to verify your personal data is processed in accordance to the law. This is more commonly referred to as a Subject Access Request.
  2. Right to rectification: You have the right to request the correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data held about you. If you believe that any of your data is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to check its accuracy and correct it, where necessary
  3. Right to erasure: Otherwise known as ‘The Right to be Forgotten’; you have the right to request that we no longer processes your personal data and erase all information about you. Please be aware that this is not an absolute right and there may be legal or regulatory reasons why data cannot be erased at the time of the request.
  4. Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to request restrictions on the processing of your data.
  5. Right to data portability: You have the right to request your personal data in a structured and commonly used format, or request it is transferred to any other organisation that you see fit.
  6. Right to object: At any time, and without having to justify your decision, you have the right to object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes. If you withdraw your consent, the previous processing of data that we have done with your consent will remain lawful.
  7. Right not to be subject of automated individual decision-making: You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, if such profiling produces a legal effect or similarly significantly affects you. RightEverywhere® does not use processes in which automated decision-making (including profiling) takes place.
  8. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State of habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged data privacy infringement.

While you may withdraw your consent at any time, there may be circumstances where we will still need to process your data for legal or official reasons. Where this is the case, we will restrict the data to only what is necessary for the purpose of meeting those specific requirements.

Updates To Our Privacy Notice

This privacy notice (including any addenda) may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our privacy practices and legal updates.
